"Sledging" or tobogganing
The ancient Alp settlers were already relying on sledges centuries ago as a useful tool and loyal sidekick. Tobogganing is once again gaining wide popularity – high on the list of winter delights for old and young.
On two natural tobogganing runs, you can enjoy gorgeous views of the Samnaun valley as fast or as leisurely as you like. At night-time, when the hills are lit by torches as part of the weekly programme, tobogganing is especially romantic and atmospheric. Toboggans can be hired in all Samnaun gear shops.
